Help us Support our District Social Welfare Office!
The government of Tanzania is doing everything it can to support their social services sector, but our Meru District Social Welfare Office currently employs just three social workers to service a population of over 200,000! The full spectrum of social support is required, from child, domestic and elder abuse, to drug and alcohol issues, medicare, you name it.
Sherry Stone Pepper is heading up a team of Canadian social workers who want to help take some of the pressure off our District Social Workers and give them a hand up in managing incredible challenges.

Our current two year project goal is 32,40,000 TZS $20,250..00 CAD which represents the salaries of one degree holding social worker, one certificate holding social work assistant, an allowance for travel and a small gift of inspiration – tea!
